Access to Responsive Justice is seeking Indigenous, Black and People of Colour who have been impacted by gender-based violence to help guide its research. Hosted by the Centre for Gender & Sexual Health Equity (CGSHE) in partnership with community organizations, Access to Responsive Justice is a University of British Columbia community-based research project.
Gender in the age of pandemic: Mitigating the triple burden of COVID-19
The COVID-19 pandemic disproportionately affected women but the Canadian and British Columbia governments largely failed in providing a gender-sensitive response. This is among the findings of a new study from the Gender & COVID-19 Project presented by CGSHE researcher and Simon Fraser University fellow Alice Murage at CGSHE’s monthly Research In Progress Seminar.
